There are many effective techniques that are combined with hypnosis including CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and EFT, and if appropriate will be included in the sessions.

Stress

Keeping up with the increasing pace of modern life, can leave many us suffering from the effects of stress. Pressures from family life & pressures from work can wear us down and lead to symptoms of stress, and if not dealt with can lead to damaging consequences to our emotional state and our physical health.
Stress is a result of an imbalance between demands made on us by life and ourselves and our own personal resources to deal with these demands. If someone has stress for too long anxiety is often the result.
We all feel stressed at various times in our lives. It's a normal response to challenging circumstances, and can be caused by happy as well as sad events. A new partner or a holiday can trigger stress just as much as the death of a loved one or a job loss.

Some of the signs of stress are:

Raised Blood Pressure
Sleeplessness
Aches and pains in neck, jaw, shoulders and back
Low sex drive
Loss of confidence
Clouded judgment and difficult to make decisions
Irritable and agitated for no apparent reason
All over tension
Short tempered

Anxiety

Everyone has experience anxiety at some point in our lives; maybe you have felt anxious about taken a test, exam results, and interviewís but for most people this feeling passes. However there are many people in the UK who suffer from anxiety on a daily or regular basis, and find this has a limiting effect on their lives. There can be many reasons for the cause of anxiety, from learnt behaviour patterns from parents, through to specific events in your life in the past or present that triggered the anxiety.
Stress and anxiety can really build up without you even realising, but if you feel it has reached a point where your life is suffering too much because of it, now is the time to sort it out.
